Our quarterly review was delayed for the Presidential election. This election felt the way we imagine a black hole to be: An unnatural swirling gravitational vortex that consumes all light and matter. Try as we might, it was impossible to dismiss the election and we felt that far too much ink had already been wasted on the topic. Another essay on the likely pros and cons for each candidate relative to the stock market was wholly unnecessary. Hopefully we, and the rest of the country can now begin to move on. This election cycle highlighted plenty of contentious issues in our great country, both real and imagined, but now that it’s over, we would not be at all surprised to see an uptick in productivity.
